I would like to introduce you to K9 Sitters home pet sitting and daycare. You can rest assured that your furry family members will be well monitored and taken care of during their stay. Your dog will be treated like a member of our family. We restrict the number of dogs we will care for, so that ALL dogs get the same amount of care and attention. We do not have kennels and try to crate dogs as little as possible.....The dogs have free roam throughout the house, as well as secure fenced areas to play in.

Reasons why home sitting is beneficial:

Pets are more comfortable in a home atmosphere and less likely to be destructive or have intestinal upsets from stress.

  • Human contact is so important, especially while owners are away and being allowed to spend time in the home with family members makes for a very happy pet.
  • Noise and smells from typical boarding kennels is greatly reduced therefore lowering the stress level of your pet.
  • Familiar sounds such as television, the phone ringing, hearing normal conversations in the house, and possibly even familiar smells makes a big difference in your pets demeanor while boarding and after going home.

We limit our Pet Sitting mostly to dogs but occasionally we will make an exception for other furry or feathered creatures depending on the situation. If you would like more information just call or email us. If you would like to come by for a home visit you are welcome!

Don't forget the holidays are coming; be sure to make your reservations ahead of time. Hope to hear from you soon!

How our pricing works:  K9 Sitters charges by the day, not by the night or by the 24 hour period. We do offer drop off the night before you leave (6 PM or later) at no charge to you. Mornings are very busy for us- so it is easier for us to take dogs in the evening than very early in the morning. However, if you drop a dog off at noon, and pick him up the next day at 9 AM, you are charged two days, If you drop a dog off Friday night at 6 PM and don’t pick them up until 9PM on Sunday night, you are charged 2 days.

Our late pick up time is 9PM, at 9 PM a new day is added to your bill – so again, picking the dog up at 8 AM will not save you a days charge. We have tried several methods of billing to try and be fair to our clients, I know that it can be confusing- but we have found this to be the fairest for both us and you. We are available 7 days a week including holidays for you to pick up and drop off your pet – if you boarded them at a vet or a kennel- you would not be able to pick them up all day Saturday, Sunday and on Holidays. We had many clients dropping off dogs on Saturday morning at 8 AM, and then picking them up at 8 or 9 PM and expecting to be charged one day “like a hotel”…However, in a hotel, you can not check in before 4 or 5 PM and your check out time is either 11 or 12 – regardless if you checked in at 5 PM or 3 AM- no exceptions. Therefore we tried to come up with the fairest method of charging without being taken advantage of our flexibility.

If your pet becomes aggressive or impossible to handle during the sitting, you will be notified immediately.  Every measure will be taken to insure your pet is safe and cared for but should this situation arise, we must look out for our own safety as well.  Together we will find a solution.
